Terms of Use

Short version: Use Notch for lawful purposes. Don't reverse engineer it. The Pro upgrade is a one-time payment with no refunds except where required by law.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Notch ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
These Terms apply to all users of the App, including free and Pro users.
2. Description of Service
Notch is a mobile counter application developed by Schnell7 Labs. The App allows users to:
- Create and manage counters organized in groups
- Track counting history and statistics (Pro)
- Export data as text, CSV, or PDF reports (Pro)
- Back up and restore counter data (Pro)
3. Free and Pro Features
Notch is available as a free download with the following limitations:
- 1 group maximum
- 5 counters per group maximum
A one-time Pro upgrade ($4.99 USD) unlocks unlimited groups, unlimited counters, and all Pro features. The Pro license is tied to your Google Play account and can be restored on any device using the same account.
4. Purchases and Refunds
The Pro upgrade is a one-time in-app purchase processed by Google Play. By making a purchase, you agree to Google Play's terms and conditions.
All purchases are generally final. Refund requests are handled by Google Play according to their refund policy. We do not process refunds directly.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Notch only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Attempt to extract the source code
- Use the App to violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Redistribute or resell the App or any part of it
6. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, code, graphics, and content, is owned by Schnell7 Labs and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Schnell7 Labs does not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Schnell7 Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data.
9. Data and Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through good faith negotiation before pursuing any legal remedies.
